New LGU Officials Proclaimed


After the canvassing of the votes from Capul's 14 clustered precincts, the newly-elected leaders were proclaimed in the afternoon of May 11.

The following were the results of the automated elections:

For Mayor:

Isidro S. Bandal   - 3,706 votes
Ignacio V. Cascano - 3,211
Orlando F. Odtujan - 106

For Vice Mayor:

Veronica B. Castillo - 3,460 votes
Remegio C. Ortego - 3,349 votes

For Councilor:

Joselito C. Catucod - 3,898
Leon M. Castillo Jr - 3,533
Anthony Ian B. Castillo - 3,434
Asuncion C. Bonabon - 3,427
Carlos O. Manaog - 3,388
Wenceslao P. Castillo - 3,372
Renato E. Pasco - 3,273
Nanette O. Magdaraog - 3,195

Those who missed the cut:

Arnel Q. Ortego - 3,162
Rhea S. Sauro - 3,149
Marta S. Pelito - 3,145
Marlon C. Mente - 3,016
Eduardo A. Castillo - 2,910
Rolando F. Pineda - 2,907
Ignacio V. Magloyuan - 2,903
Baltazar C. Pernito - 2,769

A total of 7,203 voters out of the 7,928 in the registry cast their votes.
