Bandilyo Abaknon

UEP just had its 45th commencement exercises yesterday March 30, 2009. Gillashe E. Bacayo topped among 93 graduates from the College of Nursing Olivine Batch 2009 with a grade point average (GPA) of 1.50. She is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Joel Bacayo (nee Lucia Eroles). She graduated Cum Laude and was the Academic Excellence awardee. 2 other Abaknons graduated as cum laude. They are Marlo M. Salazar and Julius Manuel L. Magloyuan. Marlo is the son of Mr. Mateo Salazar and the late (+) Luz Magdaraog. He got a GPA of 1.64. While Julius is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Manuel Magloyuan. Although Julius grew up in San Isidro, N. Samar, but his roots originated from Capul. His dad Noly is from Sawang. Julius obtained a GPA 1.66. They are the pride of Capul! Two other Abaknons graduated with the degeree of BSN. They are Jed T. Saluib (son of Mr. &Mrs. Melecio Saluib) and Marianne Marzol (daughter of Mr. & Mrs.Dionesio Marzol). Jed was awarded as the Most Promising Student Leader ...

Margie, married to Benjie Enecillo and a Certified Public Accountant, is the municipal auditor of San Isidro, Northern Samar. She is a member of CAIS Batch '84. Once again, here are some random photos of Abaknons caught by my wandering camera.

The birthday earlier posted here was March 7, but it was actually March 3. She just scheduled the celebration on a Saturday to enable the guests to be present. The party was held in their house in Sakura City, Chiba. It was attended mostly by her closest of friends, and was thus not as crowded as the celebrations of years past. But it was still a happy, cozy, intimate gathering. Even her husband, Mr. Fuji Tanabe, belted a few songs to everyone's delight.
