Central I Homecoming A Huge Success

The 2nd General Homecoming for Capul Central I Alumni turned out to be a big success. Attendance was great and the activities for the entire day drew overwhelming participation.
Almost all of the batches from 1950 to 2012 were represented. But the alumni from the 1950's elicited the most cheers as they came in full force and braved and withstood the long walk during the parade.

The groups retreated to designated classrooms during lunch time. As expected, food was abundant (lechon was everywhere!). And so were the drinks, of course.

While most of the alumni were having fun with their batchmates, the Seniors wasted no time and instead danced in the plaza - in broad daylight! When their legs grew tired, parlor games and bingo raffles were held. This continued even when heavy rain threatened to spoil the fun.

When night fell, the school campus went abuzz with batches occupying their tables - bringing in food and drinks. In no time, the entire plaza was filled with excitement as friends and classmates met - including those they haven't seen for a long time.
Part 1 of the Program was the awarding ceremony for distinguished alumni - the "firsts" in various fields. The honor and pride that they brought to the school were recognized and immortalized.

And finally, pandemonium! Never was there a dance party as crazy as that night's. Everyone seemed to be in the mood for dancing and just having fun. The live band belted out a mixture of standard ballroom fare and latest pop music, bringing everyone to dancefloor quite so often. By midnight, the senior alumni retired, clearing a part of the area for a while. But in a flash, the young ones claimed the vacated tables - and then they hopped and wiggled and shouted until the morning sun pushed them home.
